Welcome to Deveron Medical Practice
The Practice will be closed on Monday 28 September 2015
The GP’s and staff at Deveron Medical Practice appreciate your ongoing patience regarding the difficult circumstances we find ourselves in.
On the positive side from 1 September 2015 the practice will have 2 new GP partners in place.
However, until these new partners are in place July and August will be severely short of GP appointments.
Therefore it would be much appreciated if you could make full use of alternative services available locally which maybe more appropriate for your problem, these are Pharmacist, Optician and Dentist.
Pick up the Know Who to Turn to leaflet from the reception desk, which can answer many of your questions.
At busy times, or when there is a shortage of appointments, at the GP’s request, we may need to ask you personal questions regarding your illness in order for us to determine which member of our healthcare team (GP, nurse practitioner or practice nurse) would be best qualified to assist you.
Thank you for your continued co-operation

New Online Services
From mid - end October the Practice is introducing a new system where patients can book and cancel appointments and request repeat medication using the internet even when the practice is closed. Patients must provide the correct telephone number and email address and will notify the practice of any changes.
The first step to access these services is to complete a registration form which you can pick up at the practice.
Once we process the request, an email will be sent containing instructions on how to register for the service and create a user name and password. This will be on an individual basis and a form is required for each family member. The registration of children will expire when they reach 14 years of age and a new application will be required.
Once registered patients will be able to view their list of repeat medication and can select the items required and book and cancel routine GP appointments up to four weeks in advance.
Patients can withdraw consent (opt out) at any time by informing the practice.
Important: We are changing the system for ordering repeat prescriptions. Learn More...
